Overview
Isle of Skye, it’s my Family Land! Farmers and Doctors on Skye for the past 300yrs. I wont just share with you the history, but will also tell you what the next door neighbour is up to as well! lol. From Inverness, we are traveling through the North West Mountains, stunning rural scenery, before it’s over the sea and onto the Isle of Skye. You travel up the island’s east coast through the stunning Red Cuillin Mountains to Sligachan, where you stop for a photo of the clear mountain waters. We continue North to the most famous scenery of the island at the Trotternish Peninsula. The Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, and the Quiraing they are all unforgettably beautiful. Our next stop is the capital village of Portree for some lunch. Once we depart Portree its onward to Eilean Donan Castle. You can go inside ‘the most photographed castle in Scotland’ or simply enjoy its view. Once we depart we travel through the five sisters mountain pass and onto Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle, before we return to Inverness.
